Data controller
The controller of personal data collected through this website is Mattia Penna, who can be reached at info@passeggiatefacili.it.
This site is a personal project about easy walking routes. It does not sell anything online, does not manage user accounts, does not send newsletters, and does not collect data for marketing or advertising profiling.
What we collect and why
Browsing data
Like any website, the server automatically records technical information on each visit: IP address, browser and operating system, page requested, date and time. This is used to deliver the site, diagnose faults and keep it secure.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention: logs are handled by the hosting provider and kept for a limited period for technical and security purposes.
Visit statistics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they read: pages viewed, visit duration, device type and approximate geographic origin. We do not use this data for advertising profiling and do not combine it with other sources.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Without consent, analytics cookies are not installed. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Language preference
A technical cookie stores your chosen language, Italian or English, so pages are shown in the right version.
Legal basis: technical necessity. No consent required.
Email correspondence
If you write to info@passeggiatefacili.it, we process the data in your message — name, email address and content — solely in order to reply.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Retention: for as long as needed to handle the conversation.

On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept statistical cookies. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time by reopening the preferences from the banner, or by clearing cookies in your browser settings.
The site’s typefaces are hosted on our own servers, so displaying them involves no connection to any external service.
Who we share data with
- Hostinger International Ltd. — hosting provider, processing data as a processor on our behalf.
- Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Analytics, only where you have given consent.
We do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personal data to anyone else.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Data collected by Google Analytics may also be processed outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Google participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the European Commission in its adequacy decision of 10 July 2023, which provides the legal basis for that transfer.
Links to external sites
The site links to external pages, in particular to the books’ sales listings on Amazon.
Passeggiate Facili is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.it and Amazon.es, and in the equivalent programmes of Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. The price you pay does not change.
Amazon links go through an address on this site (/go/…) that takes you to the Amazon store for your country. To choose it, it reads only the language set in your browser, without storing it and without using cookies.
Once you are on Amazon, Amazon and other third parties may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons to know that you came from this site and to credit us with any purchase. Amazon acts as an independent controller. We only receive anonymous, aggregated reports (which products were bought and the resulting commission), never your name or any other personal data.
Once you leave this site, the privacy policies of those services apply, and we have no control over them. We encourage you to read them.
Your rights
As a data subject you may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15–22 GDPR at any time:
